What better way to make a new apartment feel like home than to treat yourself to a vintage tea set hand made in England? I knew this belonged in our kitchen the second I saw it!
This cozy loft was my safe place when I first moved to Winnipeg and didn't know a soul. Making my surrounding feel like a creative haven has always been very important to me. Filled with travel trinkets and photographs, my exchange district bachelor gave me a great year. I'm moving into a new exchange loft with my boyfriend, and couldn't be more excited. I am sure there will be many interior design/craft posts to follow after the move!
Ah yes! In a culture of immediacy how wonderful it feels to experience discipline in the form of waiting to unveil and touch the results of film photos. Shot on Olympus OM2.
I've been shopping in vintage/thrift stores since I was 13, but this is one of my favourite finds.
This line of Kerr's Furs parkas were made in the 1950's in The Pas, Manitoba. I found this gem for $15 in a little shop in Brandon, MB.
