Testing out Yodica Andromeda 35mm Film

This 35mm roll of Yodica Andromeda (400 ISO) was shot on my Olympus Stylus 120 point & shoot camera. This series of film is brand new (!!) and it’s made in Milan, Italy. Yodica offers seven different types of film and they all have neat effects like different colours or light leaks.

This roll, Andromeda, changes your lens into rose coloured glasses. I think I’m sold on trying the rest.

Sri Lanka on Film

I shot most of my trip to Sri Lanka on film. I felt the format best fit the country: raw, real and artistic.

Sri Lanka is an incredible destination. On this small island, one can experience bustling urban centres, lush green jungle scenes, hike up rolling hills and soak up the sun on beaches lined with turquoise waters.

The people there smile at you genuinely and say hello with sincerity.

Now seems to be a special time to visit; because while tourism is growing, the locals have yet to grow tired of showing off their country to curious foreigners.

Food is healthy, clean and home made. The fresh juices are sourced from trees mere meters away. I’ve never tasted a mango so sweet.

Tuktuk rides are the perfect mix of frightening and fun. My only word of caution is not to linger too long underneath the towering palm trees, or you may just end up with a coconut falling on your head.

Our safari guide Shana. I’ve never met a person who loves elephants as much as this man.
